Malmö University / A Constructed World
Macro Photography and Layout
This school project focused on creating and photographing a photobook based on the theme “constructing.” For this assignment, I interpreted the theme by constructing abstract worlds using water, food coloring, glitter, and oil. Through experimentation with these materials, I created organic forms and visual effects that resembled planets and imagined universes.
Using macro photography, I captured close-up details that transformed small-scale liquid interactions into vast, cosmic-like landscapes. The final result was a photobook presenting a series of images that blur the line between the microscopic and the astronomical.
This project allowed me to explore experimental image-making, lighting, and composition, while also developing my skills in visual storytelling and book design.
